Team International is in partnership with Compassion International Uganda to support Children and Youth at its project Kisoira Child and Youth Development Center located in Kisoira Parish, Migongee sub-county-Kyegagwa District. It exists to empower children for holistic growth with the main purpose of enabling them to thrive and Become Mature Christians able to influence their context.
Applicants are invited from mature Born-again Christians to work in the Child and Youth Ministry.
Responsibilities:
- Supports the Church through Discipleship programs.
- Works closely with Survival and Home Based mothers, Babies and Pregnant women.
- Participates in the preparation and implementation of Partner Plans and Budgets for Survival and other homebased Activities.
- Participates in the preparation of Program acthity and financial reports according to guidelines.
- Carries out Home visits and Group activities, as a means of equipping Participants in child Survival skills and Holistic child development.
- Supports the church in the process of homebased programing monitoring and Evaluation.
- Supports the church in Participants identification, Slots management and transitions.
- Supports the church in compiling of monthly and quarterly SLA reports.
- Supports the church to advocate for suntival and Home based beneficiaries.
Qualifications
- Must be a mature bom-again Christian with a sounding testimony and a minister.
- Minimum qualification is Diploma in Nursing, Midwifery, Community Health, Nutrition, clinical medicine, Education and Social work-Courses.
- Must be Computer literate in MS Word, Excel and
- Power Point plus knowledge of internet.
- A good steward.
- Highly self-motivated to carry out Home-visits and group trainings that involve parents.
- Should have a developmental mindset and ability to design and implement homebased.
- For the mameds, marriage certificates is a requirement.
- Ability to design a stimulating environment for children using locally available sources.
- Experience and knowledge in Early Childhood (ECD), GOBIFFF components, matermal child health intervention programs and social will be an added advantage.
- Age: 22-35 years.
