We are seeking to recruit a competent and highly motivated individual with extensive experience and abilities to support business growth in the following position:
JOB PURPOSE.
The Executive Driver is responsible for providing safe, reliable, and punctual transportation for the chief executive officer. The role involves ensuring the confidentiality, professionalism and excellent customer service, maintaining the vehicle in optimal condition, and adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES.
- Business Trip Planning, Coordinate with the executive or relevant department to understand the trip schedule, including pick-up and drop-off times, meeting locations, and any specific instructions.
- Maintain open communication with the executive and other relevant personnel for real-time updates or changes to the schedule. Provide timely updates on trip progress and any delays.
- Emergency Handling, respond appropriately to emergencies or unforeseen situations, ensuring safety at all times.
- Punctuality, arrive at designated locations on time and ensure timely pickups and drop-offs.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding all organizational matters and personal information of passengers.
- Drive bank vehicles and transport staff/bank visitors in line with the driver’s manual, the bank policy and the road and safety laws.
- Conduct daily vehicle maintenance checks and generate reports in line with the driver’s manual and banks policy on vehicle use and maintenance.
- Deliver banks correspondence, property, and equipment in line with the relevant bank policies and procedures.
- Keep and update record of vehicle movement logbook, insurance, licenses card in line with bank policies and procedure.
- Abide by all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Taking excellent custody of Bank property at disposal.
- Any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
- TAT delivery of assignments
- Customer Satisfaction
- Keeping appointments
- Timely receipt and delivery of mails
- Cleanliness of vehicles
REQUIREMENTS.
Minimum Education Qualification:
Minimum level of ‘O’ qualification and training in driving. Defensive driving skills and mechanical skills is an added advantage.
Work Experience:
Minimum of 4-5 years driving experience in a reputable organization, with driving senior management or Executive
Required Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
- Ability to withstand pressure.
- Ability to be proactive.
- Decision making.
- Coordination ability.
- Understanding of the bank environment.
