We support our clients at all levels of project cycle management, from identification, formulation, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of development projects and programs, considering social, economic, gender, and environmental challenges. GSI im- plements long-term and short-term projectsand programs funded by European Commission (EC), World Bank, GIZ, KfW, DANIDA, UNICEF, AFD, USAID, European Investment Bank (EIB), and other local and international organizations. www.governanc-esystemsug.org 

Duties and Responsibilities
:
1. Work closely with Steering Committee to respond to requests for information and ensure the Platform Leadership Chairperson is informed in a timely manner regarding activity challenges, grantee issues, or changes to work plans or budgets, and disseminating key results.
2. Ensure high-quality implementation of regional platform strategic development plan and investment plan across required deliverables.
3. Coordinate regional and high-level multi-stakeholders to identify and strengthen platforms for meaningful engagements.
4. Develop, strengthen, and nurture effective working relationships with development partners through effective networking, communication, and information sharing among regional platform Partners
5. Manage and comply with the regional platform's
6. organizational development processes such as financial management, policies, investment, and human resource among others.
7. Manage and supervise regional staff
8. Mobilize technical and financial resources to support regional platform activities and investment plan implementation. Establish and manage a platform secretariat in the region. Manage the Regional Database of Partners on behalf of the regional platform.
9. Custodian of all Platform records
10. Co-ordinate and work very closely with all stakeholders including OPM, DLGS, and MDAs to promote synergies, knowledge sharing, and learning across regional platform Partnership.
11. Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual, and other periodic reports on Activity performance in the region
12. Provide periodic updates on progress on Platform
13. Performance to the Regional Steering Committee (RSC) and other stakeholders.
14. Support the Secretary General in organizing meetings such Steering Committee, and Annual General Assembly and act as a Note recorder in all meetings.
15. Manage public relations and overall visibility of the regional platform. Support the development of Regional risk management plans. Represent the regional platforms at various forums to elevate activity goals and objectives.
16. Work closely with staff to assess the organizational needs of sub-grantees. Oversee all Platform activities and work closely with the Embedded Technical Advisor in the implementation.

Candidate Specification:
The applicant must hold a Master's degree in Economics, Political Science, Public Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field and at least six years of expe- rience working with multi-stakeholder in development including political leaders, private sector, Civil Society, local governments, Ministries, bilateral and multilateral donors, and partners. A Per- son from a specific region with experience with USAID-funded projects is an added advantage.
