Background:
Under the supervision of the Finance Manager, the Senior Finance Officer will be responsible for the day-to-day support of Finance operations in ALL FH APs including physically supporting the Namutumba and Mbale Finance operations; review all requests and procurements below UGX 15.000.000 million and field’s monthly financial reports and importing all journal templates for posting in MS Dynamics. He/she will support the CO in the monthly finance reporting, filing of taxes and monitor transactions to ensure proper cash management for all the field offices in line with the planned program activities in compliance with FH policy and Procedures.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting finance, Commerce or Business Administration.
- Level III CPA/ACCA Professional qualification/ master’s degree.
- A minimum of 5 years’ extensive experience in financial management and co-ordination, preferably within an international NGO environment
- Having an auditing background is an added advantage
Experience needed:
Vibrant personal relationship with Christ, understands and applies FH Foundational Principles and Values, Vision and Purpose. Develops and maintains good working relationships with colleagues. Effectively and efficiently manages all resources entrusted to him/her for work purposes. Maintains an attitude and behavior in accordance with FH values and principles. Complies to all finance, personnel, procurement and administrative policies of FH. Leadership skills and can supervise others. Strong Excel budgeting skills required. Proven ability to work collaboratively with staff at all levels and has proven success working in team environment. Excellent computer skills in MS word, excel, PowerPoint, Access and Internet and accounting systems specifically Dynamics and ODOO.
