Supply and Installation of Moveable Shelves at Karuma HPP; UEGCL/SPLS/2024-25/21680 Tender at Uganda Electricity Generation Company Limited

1. Uganda Electricity Generation Company Limited has allocated funds to be used for Supply and installation of movable shelves at Karuma HPP.
2. The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above supplies.
3. Bidding shall be conducted in accordance with the procedures contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act cap 205 and regulations 2023 and is open to all bidders.
4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding document at the address given below at (7) from 8am - 4pm, Monday to Friday.
5. The bidding document, which has been prepared in English, may be purchased by interested bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000/- (Uganda shillings One Hundred Thousand only). The method of payment will be in the bank on UEGCL A/C No. 6008555387, Alesa Bank, upon which bidders shall be presented a bank slip as proof of payment. The document will be issued electronically upon presentation of a receipt of payment.
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at (7) before or on June 12th, 2025 at 10:00am. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of UGX 5,000,000/- (Uganda shillings Five Million only). The Bid Security must be valid until December 30, 2025. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend at the address below on Thursday June 12th, 2025 at 10:10am.
