About the Institution

A private commercial agricultural enterprise located in Nakasongola District, Uganda, is seeking a hands-on, dedicated leader to oversee daily farm operations. The enterprise focuses on crop production and agricultural efficiency, maintaining high standards of discipline, output, and resource management across its acreage.

Job Summary & Field Scope

We are seeking an energetic, honest, and passionate individual to serve as a Farm Supervisor. In this role, you will manage daily farm routines, direct field workers, monitor agricultural projects, and ensure farm resources are utilized productively to maximize yields and maintain order on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Field Supervision: Coordinate daily farm activities, delegate tasks to agricultural laborers, and monitor work quality across the farm.
• Operations Management: Oversee planting, weeding, harvesting, equipment maintenance, and general farm upkeep.
• Leadership & Command: Provide strong, clear leadership to field workers, ensuring discipline, punctuality, and productivity.
• Resource Security: Monitor crop health, livestock/equipment security, and inventory supplies, reporting regular updates to management.

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements

• Work Ethic & Character: Exceptional honesty, self-discipline, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
• Personal Habits: Sober habits (strictly non-alcoholic / nga tanwa mwenge).
• Leadership & Innovation: Resourceful, resourceful problem-solver (nga muyiya) with proven ability to command and manage field labor effectively (nga alina asobola okuwa command).
• Passion: Genuine interest and practical drive in farming and agricultural management.
