The East African Centre of Excellence for Renewable Energy and Efficiency (EACREEE) is mandated by the East African Community (EAC) to promote renewable energy and energy efficiency in the region.
EACREEE and SADC Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (SACREEE) are the Execution Centers for the Energy Efficient Lighting and Appliances (EELA) project in East and Southern Africa. The project is funded by Swedish Government through the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) and implemented by United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).
The EELA Project is procuring the lighting test equipment which is going to be installed at Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS). To prepare the laboratory to host the equipment, the EELA Project is procuring the services of Civil Engineering Contractor to work on the civil works necessary for hosting the lighting test equipment.
EACREEE on behalf of UNIDO therefore invites interested and competent Ugandan Civil Engineering Contractors to submit their proposals for the Refurbishment and Partitioning of room space for installation of laboratory equipment for measuring light sources at UNBS.

A Mandatory pre-bid site visit has been arranged by EACREEE and Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS) on 29 May 2024 at 10:00AM EAT. Please organize for the mandatory site visit at the physical address below;
