JOB SUMMARY
To learn and gain practical experience on the job by supporting the Marketing team in the delivery of services efficiently and effectively.
Key Relationships
- External – DKT customers; third-party logistics company (Imperial Management Solutions)
- Internal – Across the organization maintain effective communication with all departments, especially with Finance, Marketing, Programs and Procurement
Role & responsibilities
- Assist with general administrative tasks, which may include updating marketing databases and organising materials for events
- Support the Marketing Co-ordinator in preparing purchase requisitions
- Monitor and track marketing materials inventory while liaising with the procurement department
- Maintain accurate records of issued materials to programs and sales teams for activities and events
- Assist in planning and execution of marketing, sales and programs’ events and promotions
- Provide support for virtual and in-person events
- Contribute fresh ideas that can enhance the brand’s standing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet marketing needs
Key Performance Indicators:
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Timeliness in preparation of purchase requests, marketing materials for events and promotions and related reports
- Accuracy of inventory postings and samples records
Qualification, skills & competencies
- In the final year of a Bachelor’s degree, or graduated within the last one (1) year, in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proficiency with MS Office and familiarity with marketing software and social media platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to multitask and a strong attention to detail.
- A proactive attitude and a passion for learning about marketing.
