Background

Responsibilities
- Design and review administrative systems and policies of Pride and ensure that they are updated.
- Set guidelines for all administrative activities and communicate the guidelines to stake holders.
- Administer and maintain lease contracts with landlords/municipal and other local authorities on matters regarding rent and tenancy renewal.
- Ensure that necessary communications to landlords and other bodies are done and filed.
- Prepare and submit periodic reports on estate matters.
- Ensure the renovations and refurbishing of the branches and supervise the repair and maintenance of equipment.
- Ensure cleanliness of the premises.
- Negotiate with service providers.
- Maintain contact with utility companies and keep records on matters pertaining to the provision of services, bill settlement and other related issues.
- Ensure maintained of up-to-date physical and corporate assets registers for all departments in Pride.
- Manage the engraving of Bank assets and supervise the proper movement of assets.
- Ensure that engraving contracts are properly documented and approved for payment.
- Manage the insurance of all Pride staff, premises and assets.
- Meet with the brokers to review the performance of the insurance companies.
- Follow up on claims settlement and report to management on insurance.
- Lead and manage the performance and development of all subordinate staff.
- Participate in recruitment and selection of staff.
- Identify skill and competency gaps and recommend appropriate training and development.
- Monitor performance and carry out periodical performance appraisals.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, Commerce, or any other related field.
- Master’s Degree in a related field is an added advantage.
- At least four years working experience at senior level in a related field.
- Good business acumen
- Excellent reporting skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Good planning and organizing skills
