Responsibilities or duties
- To prepare the scheme of work and lesion plans in line with approved curriculum on termly and weekly basis
- To conduct lesions and remedial work according to the set timetable;
- To participate in setting, administering and marking internal and external examinations
- To guide and counsel pupils
- To Participate in council meetings
- To prepare and select appropriate learning aids/materials for classroom teaching
- To keep and maintain classroom records/inventory (Registers, records of work, progress reports and equipment’s)
- To participate in co-curriculum activities and community activities
- Providing guidance and counselling services to staff on Human Resource Management issues;
- Identifying areas for policy review and intervention and make appropriate recommendations;
- To conduct research on contemporary HR best practices and make appropriate recommendations; and
- Supervise and appraise direct reports
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
- Minimum of Grade III teacher Certificates or Equivalent from a recognized Institution
- Must be Registered with Ministry of Education & Sports
