The objective of the Contract is the provision of comprehensive recruitment and technical assistance services of both National and International staff to meet the COMPANY’s operational requirements across its various fields of activity. This objective shall be fulfilled through the execution of the following obligations:
Ensuring the deployment of competent, duly qualified, and medically fit personnel, possessing the requisite moral integrity, professional experience, and technical or functional expertise necessary for the proper performance of the SERVICES throughout the entire term of the Contract.
Undertaking the full management and execution of all recruitment related processes, including but not limited to training, administrative processing, employee relations, personnel welfare, accommodation, transportation, and the coordination of all travel logistics for the personnel assigned to the SERVICES.
Securing and maintaining all mandatory statutory and administrative authorizations, encompassing work permits, residency permits, business visas, and any other approvals required for both national and expatriate personnel designated for the performance of the SERVICES.
Assuring exclusive financial responsibility for all personnel related costs, including wages, allowances, insurance premiums, statutory charges, taxes, and any direct or indirect expenditures associated with the personnel.
Effecting, at the CONTRACTOR’s sole cost and without delay, the replacement of any personnel deemed by the COMPANY to be incompetent, negligent, or in breach of disciplinary, safety, or operational requirements.
The vendor MUST possess current registration to; or application to be registered to; the National Supplier Database of the Petroleum Authority of Uganda
Demonstrated financial capacity to undertake and perform all contractual obligations, together with full adherence and compliance with all financial requirements, terms, and conditions as stipulated in the agreement. i.e. audited financial accounts for the past 3 years and are current with all tax remittance obligations
At least 10-12 years’ demonstrable experience in providing similar services in large international corporate companies, preferably in remote locations and large-scale industrial Projects.
A qualified and experienced HR team comprising of professionals with a minimum of 8 years of proven expertise across key functions, including HR Management, Resourcing, Staff Training & Development, Employee Relations, Compensation & Benefits, and Medical Administration is a requirement.
In addition to above, suitably qualified and experienced personnel with minimum 8 years’ experience, evidenced in key technical fields of work such as HSE, Finance and Accounting, and / or National Content to mention a few.
Compliance to Ugandan laws and regulations, including labor, employment, immigration, and occupational requirements. International laws and oil and gas international standards/ guidelines.
Experience implementing relevant OHSE policies, procedures and processes for the tendered Service in compliance with applicable Industry and National Standards.
Possession of appropriate licenses including but not limited to Trade license, Recruiter’s license etc.
