JOB DETAILS:
Job Summary:
As the Group Commercial Performance Lead with our client, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the commercial aspects of the organization. Your primary focus will be on driving revenue growth, improving profit margins, and ensuring overall commercial success across the group. You will work closely with various departments, including sales, marketing, finance, and operations, to align commercial strategies with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Commercial Strategy Development:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive commercial strategy aligned with the company's overall business goals.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior to identify new opportunities and threats.
2. Revenue Growth:
• Lead initiatives to expand the customer base and increase market share.
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create effective strategies for product positioning, pricing, and promotions.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and channels.
3. Profitability Improvement:
• Analyze and optimize product pricing, ensuring competitive positioning and profitability.
• Implement cost-control measures and efficiency improvements to enhance overall profitability.
4. Contract Negotiation and Management:
• Oversee contract negotiations with key clients, suppliers, and partners.
• Ensure compliance with contractual agreements and manage relationships to maximize mutual value.
5. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
• Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and track commercial performance.
• Provide regular reports and analysis to senior management on commercial metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Collaborate with other departments such as finance, operations, and supply chain to ensure alignment and synergy in commercial initiatives.
• Foster a culture of collaboration and communication to drive collective success.
7. Risk Management:
• Identify and assess potential commercial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Stay informed about industry regulations and compliance requirements, ensuring the organization's adherence.
8. Team Leadership and Development:
• Lead and mentor a team of commercial professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Provide coaching and training to enhance the team's skills and capabilities.

Skills and Tools well conversant with
• Excel Power Query (M Language)
• Microsoft Power Pivot
• Data Analysis Expressions/Models
• Advanced Excel Functions & Techniques
• Predictive Analysis and Modelling

Work Experience
• 4 years of Work experience in a similar role.
• Senior BI Commercial Analyst

Academic Qualifications and Certifications
• Bachelors of Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Computing, economics (Any degree that focuses on Technology and Business)
• Pivot Tables
• Python in Excel
• SQL
