Background

The East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) project is a midstream development located across Uganda and Tanzania that includes a nearshore marine storage and export terminal (MST). Once completed, the EACOP Company will operate the East African Crude Oil Pipeline, a 1,443 km long, thermal insulated crude oil export pipeline that transports oil from Kabale - Hoima in Uganda to the Chongoleani Peninsula near Tanga Port in Tanzania for crude export to international markets. The Company is offering internship opportunities to university students currently in the 2nd, 3rd or 4th year of study who would require a work placement as part of their study program.

SELECTION CRITERIA FOR INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree program from recognized National Universities.

Must provide Introduction letter from university and copy of student I.D.

Current academic scores must reflect a potential minimum of an upper second degree.

Must provide a partial transcript / copy of academic scores to-date.

Must be available full time for the duration of the internship period.

Excellent verbal & numeracy skills and problem-solving ability.

Good communication skills and positive attitude.

Must write and submit an internship application letter.

DURATION OF INTERNSHIP

Minimum 10 weeks from June 2026.

Qualifications:

3rd or 4th year student of Bachelor of Laws
