We are seeking to recruit a Director, Miscio Uganda to provide tactical direction to MISCIO activities in Uganda, effectively share the vision, mission with a strong competency to partner with internal and external stakeholders through strategic collaboration initiatives, meet strategic recruitment and financial goals, and maintain the overall health of the Miscio Uganda expression.
Key Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to) • Create and establish new Business-to-Business Marketing Channels as well as articulate organizational clarity to key internal stakeholders and partners to maximize organizational reach through collaboration.
• Develop and manage the student recruitment plans as well as orientation process of new students from established Business-to-Business marketing channels and from within Watoto Church.
• Coordinate with the Southeastern University Academic advisors to review and approve students changing degree programs.
• Manage Miscio Uganda staff engagements in the development and implementation of complex change projects through planning, assigning work and continuous feedback.
• Create Leadership development plans for Miscio Uganda staff, conduct performance appraisals and engagement initiatives.
• Operate an ongoing stakeholder engagement strategy to keep relevant leaders up to date with organizational progress.
• Prepare and present quarterly reports and presentation to the Advisory Council to provide an account for organizational activities.
• Develop the annual budget, administers the approved budget and Institute resources to ensure budgetary and cost control measures are observed in the delivery of services.
• Oversee and balance monthly financial reporting of organizational activity.
• Collaborate with the Student Experience Manager and Miscio's Academic and Church Partners to ensure student/staff resources are adequate. Manage relationships with Miscio Uganda Alumni.
• Supervise implementation of annual digital and community development marketing plans. Coordinate marketing efforts with OneHope Team and with the Student Experience Manager.
• Project and manage Miscio Uganda Team's Goals and Objectives to enable that all stakeholders understand, translate the vision stay, engaged, and maintain the overall health of the Miscio Uganda expression.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience. • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Administration, Marketing, or a related relevant discipline. Advanced degree in Business or Marketing is an added advantage
• The ideal candidate should have a proven record of at least 5 years as a Sales Representative, Marketing Representative, or Customer Relationship Manager.
• Working knowledge of Digital Marketing Strategies, Public Speaking Preferred Qualifications and American higher education system.
• Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and creation of strategic initiatives focused on higher educational initiatives.
• Excellence prioritization skills and proven experience leading tooling, systems, automation, and process.
• Should have an aptitude in decision-making, problem-solving and excellent interpersonal, partnership and communication skills.
JOB DETAILS: Watoto is seeking to recruit a Driver to transport passengers and goods safely and efficiently to designated locations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to) • To ensure that the vehicle has the necessary documents permitting it to be on the road, such as insurance cover, third party license and logbook.
• To always maintain a high standard of cleanliness and good appearance of the car.
• To monitor fuel refills whenever one is refilling the car and ensure that proper records are issued for fuel card deductions by the gas station staff.
• To ensure that any accident or damage to the vehicles however minor is reported to the line manager and logged in the accident report form.
• To keep an accurate record of all vehicle equipment that is within the vehicle.
• To perform general and regular daily checks on the vehicle to ensure the vehicle is in a proper mechanical and body condition, thus road worthy and safe.
• To ensure that all emergency equipment such as car jack, spare tyre, wheel spanner, first aid box and jumper cables are all available in the car.
• To thoroughly inspect cars before long journeys to ensure the car is fit for the journey. To observe due dates for servicing the vehicles and update the line manager in advance to allow time to schedule it in.
• To adhere to the guiding principles spelt out in the code of conduct for drivers for Watoto Ministries.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience. • The applicant for the role should have a minimum of an Advanced level Certificate.
• The applicant should have a minimum of 6 years working experience as a driver.
• Must have a valid driving permit with classes of a DL, DM, DM1
• Ability to drive in a safe manner according to local and international, knowledge of defence driving, basic traffic signs and regulations.
• Demonstrates ability to diagnose and fix simple mechanical problems and report major mechanical problems.
• Excellent knowledge of the city and major motorways in Uganda.

Key Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to) • To set direction for the school to enable all learners to reach their potential, and to translate a vision into a whole Institute curriculum with consistency and high expectations.
• To build instructors commitment to professional development and manage all employee relations matters in conjunction with the HR team.
• To conduct employee performance reviews and ensure to plans, monitor and mentor teachers.
• To manage the recruitment and orientation process of new staff and provide input into the staff welfare initiatives and once agreed, supports implementation.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience. • The applicant for the role should have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Education or a relevant degree.
• To monitor curriculum, teaching, learning, and work with teaching and non-teaching staff and make recommendations for modifying them as needed.
• To manage teaching and learning to ensure that there is a high degree of consistency and innovation in teaching practices to enable personalised learning for all learners.
• To engage with networks collaborating to build curriculum diversity, professional support, and extended services to ensure a healthy balance of academic, co-curricular and life skills for learners.
• To develop the annual school's budget and administers the approved budget and school resources to ensure budgetary and cost control measures are observed in the delivery of education services.

• The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of at least 8 years teaching experience within a large active and vibrant organisation with at least 3 of those years at leadership/administration level.

JOB DETAILS: Watoto is seeking to recruit a Resource Mobilisation Coordinator to support with the coordination process for production of high-quality proposals and grant applications. Identification of new and non-traditional sources of funding from a range of institutional donors to leverage Watoto's funding prospects.
Key Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to) • Ensure there is effective coordination of resource mobilisation activities and maintain a positive working relationship with Community Care team.
• Contribute and participate in all all-fundraising related activities when required.
• Advise programme quality teams and finance on relevant donor requirements, potential funding opportunities, changes in donor priorities and ensure quality grant management.
• Oversee development and submission of all external donor reports in compliance with donor requirements and deadlines.
• Liaise with all the funding affiliates and relevant departments to ensure high quality and timely submission of proposals, concept notes and project reports to donors and funding affiliate.
• Determine proposal concept, study requests for proposals (RFPs) and attend strategy meetings.
• Facilitate discussions, generate ideas and concepts, and translate these into innovative grant-winning proposals.
• Lead grant writing for assigned proposals and manage grants management lifecycle to ensure timeliness and accuracy of relevant data.
• Establish and implement proper grants management procedures, including but not limited to award notifications, grant agreements, and grant reporting.
• Design initiatives that enhance internal capacity for grant writing and proposal development and assist in preparing budgets for grant applications.
• Manage applications, correspondences, records, reports and other documentation for new and existing donors and Funders.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience. • The applicant for the role should hold at least a minimum of a Master's degree in social sciences, humanities, development studies, human rights, political science, or other relevant discipline.
• At least a minimum of four years' working experience with an NGO in a resource mobilisation position involving proposal development and donor liaison.
• Experience of developing successful proposals or tender bids to the EU, DFID, USAID, and private donors.
• Experience with local and international funding organisations and resource mobilisation initiatives. Proven ability to identify and pursue strategic funding opportunities.
• Should have an excellent writing, reasoning, and analytical skills.

We are seeking to recruit Sports Coaches to develop the children's technical and tactical Sports
ability, while fostering teamwork, discipline, and Sportsmanship, on and off the Sports fields
Key Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to) • Conduct regular weekly physical training for Junior, senior athletes, and physical Education for Watoto schools.
• Identify exposure opportunities (friendly matches, tournaments, Club-trials) and prepare the athletes to take part.
• Organise and coordinate Sports Academy events i.e., Sports days, Sports banquets, try outs among others. Conduct regular weekly discipleship, mentorship, and character development sessions for all student-athletes.
• Maintain team and individual discipline, control in practice and games with consistent firm and fair limits application. Communicate and monitor academic eligibility standards to student-athletes on a periodic basis.
• Ensure that all student-athletes abide by the athletes' code of conduct.
• Work in collaboration with coaches from each sport disciplines to develop an annual Sports program budget. Assist the Head Coach with strategic planning for the Sports Academy.
• Identify suitable assistant sports coaches and determine their assignments and duties ensuring that all Sports Development department policies and guidelines are upheld.
• Maintain general upkeep, care and protection of Sports facilities, kits, and equipment, keep an updated inventory record.
• Prepare and submit periodic reports to the Head Coach in a timely manner.
• Attend internal and external Coaches seminars, trainings, or workshops to promote continuous skill improvement.
• Attend Parents meetings, devotions, trainings as deemed necessary.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience. • Should have a minimum of a Degree in any relevant discipline. A Diploma in Physical Education or, Sports Science shall be an added advantage.
• The applicant should be a qualified Sports Coach recognized by FUBA, FUFA or UNE
• At least two years' experience in Sports Coaching.
• Good communication and interpersonal relationship skills, high degree of flexibility and initiative.
• Commitment to work within a team environment and ability to work under minimal supervision.
