JOB DETAILS:

PURPOSE:

To manage all official BOU’s websites internal and external (BOU website, Intranet).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop system specifications for changes to the BOU websites to address customer needs.
• Redevelop or upgrade the BOU website and Intranet based on latest web development technologies.
• Ensure integrity of the bank’s online presence (intranet and extranet) through monitoring webservers and their performance to ensure high availability.
• Implement patching of application of the BOU Website and Intranet based upon security scan recommendations.
• Administer administration of access (access controls) to the applications.
• Provide technical documentation on installation, configuration procedures for maintenance of the BOU website and intranet.
• Provide 2nd Level support to the bank website and Intranet. These may include but not limited to attending to incidents and conducting routine backups.
• Facilitate the integration of the bank website to the Datawarehouse. This comprises of Design, development of data collection tools, provision of dashboards and implementing periodic enhancements as maybe required.
• Manage department projects following PRINCE2 Project or AGILE development frameworks.
• Provide support to business intelligence applications.
• Automation all Bank Wide Surveys to include but not limited to feedback/ customer satisfaction surveys and further gather, analyse, and document analytics to proactively address performance.
• Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time.

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS

QUALIFICATIONS

• A First Class or Upper Second-Class degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Data Science, Information Technology.
• Certification in Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3, Certified Webmaster Professional (CWP) or related relevant field are an added advantage.

• Demonstratable experience in developing using Django (Python 3.X)
• Extensive knowledge in Content Management Systems
• Certification Adobe Creative Suite 6 (CS6) or above
• Knowledge of SQL and SQL query optimization
• Proficiency in Analysis using Google Analytics
• Research skills.
• Capacity building in Open CMS, OCEE and Skilling in MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure. required for expertise in cloud technologies.
• Database Administration
• Search engine optimization (SEO) best practices.
