Management Information Systems (MIS) Coordinator
Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Manages all business processes around SAP plus their adaptation to the affiliate business needs.
• Acts as affiliate’s SAP focal point. Promotes the use of the SAP Product. Coordinates SAP Committees in the affiliate with collaboration of the E&P branch SAP community. Defines and deploys SAP best practices.
• MIS Projects: Coordinates, implements, and supports functional upgrades, new evolutions, system tests and version changes of SAP e.g. SALSA to UNISOL with compliance to negotiated SLAs.
• Manages user training needs, change management, and disseminates information of all SAP domains across the affiliate.
• Manages the documentation of all SAP business processes, procedures (CMS), training guides and manuals.
• Responsible for affiliate IT SOX controls and ensures SAP processes are in line with the SOX control methodology.
• Responsible for IS business analysis, business case definition, solution design/architecture and consultancy.
• Ensures an efficient organization and coordination of 1st level support in the affiliate with the Lead/Key users by resolving system errors, performing User Acceptance/Regression tests of new functionalities.
• Responsible for SAP user authorizations management (profile definitions) with respect to EP branch security rules.
• Supports month/year end closing operations, Master data updates, SAP reporting with BW/BI and DOA Updates.
• Manages and monitors data transfer on other applications interfaced with SAP i.e. DOA, IMP, Payroll, Themis and GRC10.
• Consolidates the running costs of SAP Product evolutions, projects, SAP licenses, support and provide key indicators on SAP operational cost to management.
• Responsible for validation and follow-up of Service Now tickets progression as per the SLA and escalates if necessary.
• Supports entity HSE defined objectives to ensure adherence to the safety measures.

Candidate profile
Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Financial Management.
• 8 years’ experience in MIS role and/or 6 years’ experience in SAP and BW/BI.
• Knowledge of other Information Systems aspects and how they impact application service. delivery to customers. Projects Management and Support knowledge is essential.
• A sense of service/orientation to customers/clients.
• Good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills, and ability to work in a team


Senior Human Rights Coordinator
Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Support the Subsidiary to adhere to the companys’ Human Rights commitments including to implement the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, the United Nations Global Compact Principles, the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises, the fundamental conventions of the International Labour Organization and the Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights. Supports implementation of the Subsidiary Human Rights Policy.
• Support implementation by the Subsidiary of Ugandan laws and policies with respect to Human Rights including the Ugandan National Action Plan on Business and Human Rights.
• Ensure the implementation by the Subsidiary and the Tilenga Project of the Human Rights Impact Assessment and assist with the conduct of any future Human Rights Impact Assessment.
• Oversee Subsidiary human rights due diligence including assisting with the organization and secretariat of the Subsidiary Human Rights Committee, ensuring that decisions are documented and monitoring implementation.
• Proactively promote awareness and understanding of the Company, Subsidiary and Tilenga Projects’ Human Rights commitments both internally and externally.
• Ensure adequate systems, tools and processes are in place to appropriately monitor Human Rights issues and to ensure mitigation of Human Rights measures.
• Ensure adequate Human Rights Reporting including in relation to the Human Rights Impact Assessment Action Plan.
• Carry out research and provide advice on matters of concern in relation to human rights matters.
• Attend where requested external meetings and webinars relevant to the role.
• Carry out verifications to ensure compliance with international & local human rights laws.
• Conduct site verification visits when required.
Candidate profile

Qualifications & Experience
• Degree Qualified in law, human rights, political science, business or a related degree. Law firm experience is added advantage but is not essential.
• 8+ years' experience as a lawyer, in human rights field or in a related discipline.
• A mature, interpersonal and confident individual with good interpersonal skills.
• Negotiation and conflict resolution.
• Communication skills –must be able to communicate effectively, articulate their view verbally and actively listen to other points of view.
• Excellent writing skills are essential

Contracts & Procurement Manager
Main Duties and Responsibilities

1. Adheres to the H3SE rules
• Raise awareness and provide guidance in directing employees under his supervision with regard to the execution of the HSE rules, both for Company staff and Contractors without detracting from Contractor’s legal obligations.
• Assure themselves and the persons under his supervision of the safety of the workplace to avoid danger to persons, installations and avoid impact to the environment.
• Notify relevant staff on accidents, incidents and near-misses and initiate corrective actions.
2. Ensures Compliance:
• Verify that Company’s Contractual Policies and applicable laws and regulations are adhered to, especially related to ethnic and transparency.
• Verify that procurement contracts and procedures comply with the standards of the Company and the agreements with the Partners.
• Ensure the application and respect of the procedures in the tender process.
3. Organizes the entity:
• Organize, manage and control the procurements, contracts, methods, freight forwarding for the Company activities (non-operational needs) and stock management function in the subsidiary.
• Supervise the establishment of the purchase orders and the contracts.
• Supervise the development of the Project National Content programs, oversee the implementation of all National Content Regulatory & contractual obligations in the execution of project activities.
• Introduce the procurement practices and the procedures of establishment of the contractual documents, in cooperation with the technical teams, respecting the corporate system of reference and local constraints.
• Establish the local templates for the qualification of suppliers, the Call for tender and the standards contracts. Watch for the adequacy of the corporate system of reference with the local context and participate to its evolution.
• Intervene in the settlement of claims/lawsuit in relation with the judicial, Insurance, finance by proposing strategies and actions and by participating to the negotiations.
• Coordinate the relations with the suppliers through consultation with Métier Partners.
• Follow up market trends, participate to the follow-up and the evaluation of the suppliers, inform the concerned actors of the structure.
• Ensure the maintenance of the necessary level of competencies for the realization of the activities including the use of IT tools of C&P corporate. Ensure that the required discipline trainings are in place for the contracts and procurement team.
• Participate in complex and difficult negotiations, during the establishment of new contracts.
• Ensure the subsidiary’s reporting towards the head office in terms of contract and procurement activities & statutory reporting.
• Organize and act as Contracts Committee’s Secretary.
• Represent the Company, as required, regarding CP function before Authorities and Partners.
• Coordination with Project team to implement locally C&P strategy required to support the start, execution and operations of the Project.
• Give direction to all C&P entities in definition of global strategy and objectives.
• Analyse personnel requirement, training and competencies needed to run an efficient C&P organization for operational phase of the subsidiary.
• Disseminate the information on best practices to the entire team ensuring continual improvement on savings and general value addition of the C&P function to the Company’s overall objectives.
• Ensure contracts are drafted in accordance with approved model contracts reviewed periodically with other relevant departments such as Legal, Finance, Insurance and HSE.
• Monitor KPIs to ensure improvement of efficiencies.
Candidate profile

Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Engineering, Business or the Social Sciences with minimum 15 years’ experience 5 of which have been in a management position (operations and/or supply chain).
• Experience with oil and gas contracts and procurement with understanding of operational requirements.
• Membership of relevant professional bodies in the Supply Chain and in Operational functions will be an added advantage.
• Advanced Management, advanced human relations, problem solving and planning / organizing / coordinating / controlling
• Excellent knowledge in Legal environment, Insurance, Tax.
• Excellent Negotiation and Team management skills.
