Overview

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a results-driven and customer-focused professional to join our team as a Salesperson. This role is responsible for promoting and selling our high-quality roasted coffee products, building strong customer relationships, and driving sustainable sales growth. The role reports directly to the Commercial Manager

Key Accountabilities

  • Attain in-depth knowledge of our roasted coffee products including flavor profiles, origins and brewing methods.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets by identifying opportunities to sell through reaching out to potential new customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional customer service and support, answering questions and making recommendations as well as ensuring the retention of existing customers.
  • Stay up to date with market trends, competitor activity and customer preferences and provide timely feedback to the commercial team.
  • Ensure product availability in assigned stores, monitor inventory levels, working closely with store teams to prevent stockouts.
  • Ensure stock is properly displayed on shelves
  • Ensure pricing in stores correctly, in line with company guidelines (no overpricing beyond set retail price).
  • Support store stock counts, product launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns, engaging customers and driving sales.
  • Provide accurate, timely reporting on inventory levels and performance of the different customers
  • Work collaboratively with the production and distribution teams to resolve challenges.

Requirements

Skills and Experience

  • Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Sales, or Business Administration.
  • 2-3 years’ experience in merchandising, retail operations, or trade marketing (FMCG preferred).
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple stores.
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and organization.
  • Must possess a valid Class B driver’s licence and be able to operate a manual transmission vehicle.
