Job Description
Mission/ Core purpose of the Job
To lead the Fintech Commercial operations strategy, develop, implement, maintain tools, processes, and standards to accelerate the growth and expansion of the consumer and distribution network for the Company.
To deliver a superior nationwide MoMo fintech footprint across all regions with a robust merchant (informal) Network with the objective of offering the best possible quality of service to Fintech customers when they interact with MoMo Fintech distribution channels.
Responsibilities
Main Job Functions:
- Design and implement the Fintech retail distribution strategy with focus on user experience and business growth.
- Accelerate the acquisition and retention of Fintech customers using the relevant channels.
- Responsible for MoMo customer value management (CVM) initiatives to manage churn and improve retention.
- Drive the growth of MAU 30 customers on key MoMo services such as P2P, MoMoPay and Yello currency.
- Responsible for the acceleration and adoption of the MoMo App among consumers in the ecosystem.
- Lead informal merchant penetration to drive nano adoption across regions.
- Review and constantly improve MoMo value proposition to its Fintech distribution channels.
- Setup SMART Fintech KPls and support the Regional Sales Teams to drive Fintech retail KPIs to be executed in the field.
- Ensure MoMo engagements and incentives to the key Fintech distribution partners are effectively delivering MTN Fintech strategy.
- Organize Weekly meetings with Regional MoMo Teams and ensure complete accountability on all KPIS.
- Manage and resolve escalations that have impact on critical path of service delivery in MoMo business within regions.
- Escalate issues that will result in significant time, scope, employee/subscriber or cost impact if not resolved.
- Manage and provide solutions to issues that require continuous improvement in the MoMo commercial operations space.
- Develop tools for the Field Teams to support MoMo Fintech distribution partners and track Fintech performance efficiently.
- Support the conversion rate of new gross adds to active Fintech subscribers/agents and Mobile Money product activations.
- Support in the development and coaching of MoMo Regional Sales Teams and Distribution partners to enhance overall effectiveness within the Fintech operations Network.
- Support the development and coaching of the Trade Marketing manager and Manager Acquisition & retention to enhance their skills and productivity.
- Lead all BTL activations across the nation to drive consumer adoption and usage of MoMo services.
- Leverage existing and ad hoc sponsorship assets to drive value for MTM Momo
- Responsible for Trade Marketing activities across all MoMo distribution channels, including Rig activations, marketing collateral deployment in line with the channel planogram (picture of success
- Manage the MTN Customer Experience blueprints throughout the trade and retail environments.
- Ensure that Fintech Brand image is protected.
- Responsible for Business development initiatives to enhance adoption of key products in the MoMo ecosystem.
Qualifications
Education:
- A degree in business management or in related discipline
- MBA or Master’s degree in a related discipline is desirable.
Experience:
- 5 years’ experience in commercial function of fintech/telecom company/FMCG industry of which 3 years must have been in a managerial/strategic position.
- Experience in team management and supervision is a must have.
- Outstanding experience and exposure in field sales management and administration
