JOB DETAILS:
About the role
As part of Fenix engagement to bring life-changing products and services to its customers, Fenix is expanding its product base to include a new range of clean-cooking products and services (CCPS). Fenix is looking for an experienced, highly motivated, well organised and responsible Talent and Finance Administrator to join this new team. This position is a unique opportunity to join a rapidly growing company at the front lines of renewable and mobile payment technology. Candidates should expect a fast-paced startup culture. They will be expected to come up with innovative and daring solutions to new problems and to take ownership over a wide range of responsibilities.

As Talent and Finance Administrator, you will manage the team’s general administrative activities so that the team can operate in a smooth and efficient manner. You will be responsible for supporting the team by providing high-level talent, financial and administrative support. You will manage expenses, handle information requests, draft correspondence, schedule appointments, organize and maintain paper and electronic files, as well as provide information to customers.

You will report directly to the Head of Clean Cooking.

Key Responsibilities
Human Resources

• Manage HR activities for the team,
• Support recruitment and organise interviews for a wide range of new positions within the team,
• Support new hires, and
• Keep track of team members personal time off.

Financial Administration
• Organise accounting and keep track of expenses,
• Manage and track assets, and
• Purchase furniture, equipment and office supplies and research new deals and suppliers.

General Administration
• Update and maintain the policies and procedures,
• Prepare and edit reports, invoices, reports, memos, letters, and other documents, using word processing, spreadsheet, database, or presentation software,
• Plan meetings, take minutes and keep track of the agenda,
• Organise and schedule appointments,
• Organise transport and logistics for trainings, visits, meetings and other events,
• Answer and direct phone calls,
• Track and receive parcels and deliveries,
• Apply and follow-up applications for travel visas, and
• Create and maintain contact lists.

Required Skills & Experience
• BSc in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration or similar field,
• Demonstrate passion for Fenix’s mission, values and customers,
• At least 5 years work experience in human resources, with significant exposure to accounting,
• Significant experience recruiting talent,
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and concepts,
• Organised, able to follow through and to prioritize tasks,
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask,
• Excellent time management skills,
• Attention to details and problem solving skills,
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
• Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word in particular) and/or G Suite (Google Sheets, Docs and Slides),
• Experience as a collaborative, hands on team player and eagerness to learn new tools and / or roll-up sleeves to get the job done.

Desired Skills

• Experience working in the field of clean cooking, energy or financial services,
• Experience recruiting for various positions,
• Experience with Tableau or other data analytics tools,
• Knowledge of French is a plus.
