Job Summary;
To manage, grow and sustain the company’s brand portfolio with an overall aim to realise the business’s FY segment-based strategy.
To be achieved through building and implementing a strategic marketing plan for Hima products’ value chain in the construction sector (B2B, contractors/specifiers, distributors, retail, IHBs and users), developing effective marketing initiatives as well as robust strategies to support equitable brand growth.
To manage the internal and external communications at Hima Cement while supporting all stakeholders in a timely manner, whilst ensuring confidentiality and timely execution/response
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with the business’s strategy team to develop a macro and micro economic analysis of the domestic and export Cement market outlook to provide guidance to the business’s short and mid-term plan.
- Efficiently and effectively implement the business’s marketing plan through routine and timely communication and performance reviews for each individual consumer channel, including B2B, contractors, IHBs, users, distributors & retailers/stockists.
- Monitor the company’s cement market share both at the domestic and regional level through data collection and analysis, as well as the provision of guidelines and corrective actions based on the prevailing trends.
- Efficient marketing budget implementation in line with the company's strategic direction, monitoring and evaluation of external services and purchases through clear accountability and performance assessment reports.
- Monthly reporting on competitor outlook and evolving construction sector needs.
- Be the custodian of all the company’s product brands and their image/equity to maintain long-term performance standards and control all communication, including advertising, promotions, sponsorship, label design, etc.
Required Qualifications skills and attributes.
Technical Competencies
- Business degree or general engineering, with eventual speciality in special marketing qualification or related profession.
- At least 5 years of experience in the construction market field.
- Solid knowledge of the marketing service contacts and business development initiatives in the construction industry.
- Solid IT user knowledge
- English – fluid at a working level
