Job Overview:
NetHope is seeking a dynamic Community Manager to drive the growth and engagement of our nonprofit community. This role will work closely with the Chief Innovation Officer (CIO), Director of Membership Engagement (DME), and Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to expand our impact by fostering collaboration among nonprofits through online, hybrid, and in-person activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Community Growth: Develop outreach campaigns to attract new nonprofit participants, deliver compelling value propositions, track acquisition metrics, and address concerns empathetically.
- Community Engagement: Nurture a distinct community culture, foster peer-to-peer connections, manage the community platform, and create engagement opportunities tailored to participant needs.
- Content Curation: Identify and share relevant content, develop a content calendar with educational and inspirational materials, and highlight participant success stories.
- Collaboration: Support NetHope’s mission by facilitating meetings, coordinating with teams, and promoting a digital-first ecosystem for NGOs.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; prior NGO or membership experience preferred.
- Minimum 5 years in a professional environment, ideally with experience in community growth, client acquisition, or event management.
- Proficiency in tools like Salesforce, Asana, Zoom, Cvent, Miro, and Slack; experience with community forums is a plus.
- Strong communication, project management, and networking skills; multilingual skills are an advantage.
- Cultural sensitivity, entrepreneurial mindset, and ability to work in a fast-paced, global virtual team.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time, 100% remote position with flexible schedules to accommodate global time zones.
- Requires a reliable internet connection and camera-on interactions.
- May involve international or domestic travel for 1–2 NetHope events annually.
