Oxfam is looking for competent persons to join our dynamic, innovative and committed team in the following positions:
Position: Program Quality & Learning Coordinator
The Program Quality and Learning Coordinator provides leadership on program quality, development and improvement, learning and knowledge management, including strategic plan and operation models, work plans development, working hand in hand with the Head of Program, Thematic Managers and Cross-Cutting Program Leads to ensure adherence to the One-Program Approach; provides capacity building and support to the program team, partner organizations and leads and guides the whole MEAL team. This role leads and manages the reporting function of Oxfam in Uganda. S/he reports to the Head of Program and manages the Programme Administrator position. The position is based in Kampala, with occasional travel to the field locations within Uganda. Technical Skills, Knowledge & Experience The person we are looking for will have a minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Project Planning and Management, Monitoring and Evaluation, Public Policy with focus on conflict and security, humanitarian affairs, governance, risk management, Women or gender studies, Human Rights. Advanced degree in related field including postgraduate qualification in Monitoring and Evaluation would be an added advantage; Strong knowledge and understanding of gender, poverty and development issues in Uganda; programme development and delivery approaches, tools, methodologies and best practices; Strong operational management ability with a clear focus on results delivery Strong technical competence in research, learning and monitoring and evaluation methods, theory and practice; Understanding of a broad range of program quality issues and the practical issues faced by program managers in demonstrating impact; Strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills.
