On behalf of our client in Recreations facilities, we are looking for a competent, skilled, and experienced SALES LEAD to work in Kampala
Location: Kampala
Job Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and energetic Sales Lead with a strong understanding of customer experience. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, loves connecting with people, and can drive membership sales while delivering a catered experience to our members and guests. The ideal candidate will be willing and able to manage a book of business, perform comfortably under outreach and sales goals, and thrive in an environment of entrepreneurship.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
- Greet and assist all members and guests with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Provide knowledgeable guidance on Mwamba’s experience, amenities and offerings
- Address member inquiries and resolve concerns with care and efficiency
- Foster a friendly, inclusive, and motivational atmosphere
Membership Sales:
- Conduct tours of the facility, highlighting classes, relevant products & services, amenities and community
- Educate prospects on class & membership options, benefits, and pricing structures
- Follow up with leads via phone, text, and email to drive conversions
- Consistently meet or exceed individual and team outreach, conversion & sales goals
Operational Support:
- Support front desk operations including class bookings, member check-ins, and retail sales
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of front desk and common areas
- Assist in planning and executing events, challenges, and special promotions
- Provide guidance to members and guests
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated success with B2C in-person and virtual sales. Specifically in managing a roster of leads
- Demonstrated success working in a CRM system
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Outgoing personality with a team-oriented attitude
- Passion for fitness and helping others succeed in their health journey
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
Bonus Points:
- Experience or knowledge of climbing a plus
- Basic knowledge of climbing grades and strength conditioning for climbers
- CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain)
