About Organisation:

Brookside Dairy Limited, often referred to as Brookside Dairies, is a dairy processing company in Kenya, the largest economy in the East African Community. The company offers fresh pasteurized milk, cream, butter, yogurt, ghee, and long life milk products in Indian Ocean Islands, East Africa, Rwanda and Burundi. It provides products through distribution depots, agents, and sub agents to outlets in East Africa.

Job Summary:

Responsible for receiving and issuing of goods to different departments and keeping records as per the agreed guideline provisions.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receive goods from suppliers.
  • Issue goods to different departments accordingly.
  • Post in systems application program (SAP) for ease of reference.
  • Update BIN cards as required.
  • Maintain cleanliness in stores for proper hygiene required.
  • Any other duties assigned to you by your immediate supervisor from time to time.
  • Record weights and waste type by vehicle, completing appropriate documentation and collect driver’s signature, etc. for accounting purpose.
  • Maintain the weighbridge and general area of the weighbridge including office in a clean, tidy and hazard free condition.
  • Adhere to licensing guidelines and collate monthly data by waste type and by customer as part of management information and for environmental returns.
  • Produce documents and reports.
  • Deal with incoming and outgoing email, and post.
  • Ensure that established policies and procedures are followed.
  • Assist with general administrative duties and customer services.
  • Providing duty of care for the vehicles entering site.
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned to you from time to time by your immediate supervisor

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • A candidate must hold a Diploma in Stores Management. However, a Degree in business discipline will be added advantage from a recognized University.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 to 2 years’ experience in fast moving consumer goods environment.

  • Integrity
  • Good Computer knowledge
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Self-motivated and result orientated
  • Good interpersonal skills/ analytical, problem-solving and creative work approach.
  • Must possess good customer-care skills.
  • Team player skills.
