True North Consu is seeking a Training & Development Coordinator.

Responsibilities or duties,

The position holder is responsible for:

  • Support the development, execution, and evaluation of annual and strategic training plans for the affiliate.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify training needs and priorities.
  • Lead the implementation and monitoring of graduate trainee and internship Programmes.
  • Liaise with receiving affiliates for international placements and ensure smooth onboarding.
  • Coordinate individual development plans, follow up on progress, and facilitate review meetings.
  • Prepare and analyze reports on staff development, performance reviews, and succession planning.
  • Manage statistics and reporting for Annual Individual Reviews (AIR), mid-year reviews, and probation assessments.
  • Schedule training sessions, secure venues, and manage all logistical arrangements.
  • Oversee administrative requirements for operator and maintenance technician training.
  • Lead the induction process for new staff, ensuring a positive and compliant onboarding experience.
  • Prepare quarterly, annual, and ad hoc reports for national content, authorities, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
  • Leverage LMS and other training software to deliver, track, and report on training activities.
  • Utilize data analytics to assess training impact and inform workforce planning.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, external training providers, regulatory bodies, and HQ to enhance learning opportunities.
  • Support HR campaigns, job posting administration, and diversity initiatives.
  • Integrate regular feedback mechanisms and strategic alignment sessions to improve training Programmes.
  • Promote a culture of learning and development across the organization

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills),

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in human resource management or equivalent (a postgraduate qualification in HR or a related area is an added advantage).

Experience needed,

Experience

  • Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in human resources, with a focus on career management and staff development.
  • Demonstrated experience in training programme coordination, performance management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, discretion, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Experience with data analytics, online reporting tools, and learning management systems is required.
  • High level of digital literacy to effectively work with digitalized learning systems.
