Job Summary:
Kiboko Enterprises
The Van Sales Supervisor is responsible for leading, coaching, and monitoring the Van Sales team to achieve sales targets and distribution objectives. This role ensures optimal route planning, inventory management, and customer service excellence while driving team performance and reporting to the Sales Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of Van Sales Representatives.
- Develop and manage daily/weekly sales routes for the team to maximize coverage and efficiency.
- Monitor team performance against sales targets, KPIs, and distribution goals.
- Ensure vans are properly stocked, maintained, and meet safety standards.
- Conduct field visits to coach reps, resolve escalated customer issues, and ensure compliance with sales procedures.
- Prepare and submit daily sales reports, collections reports, and team performance analyses.
- Manage stock levels, oversee order fulfillment, and minimize stock losses or expiries.
- Implement merchandising standards and promotional activities at customer points.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Diploma/Degree in Sales, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in field sales, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role (preferably in FMCG or distribution).
- Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of route planning and territory management.
- Proficient in using sales reporting tools and basic MS Office.
- Valid driver's license.
