Introduction;

The ‘Technical Sales Assistant- Civil’ will provide construction related assistance to customers including site visits to understand their needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions, contributing to sales growth and customer satisfaction.

Duties and responsibilities

Sales;

  • Identify and establish new business by organizing and making sales visits
  • Give technical advice and presentations to make clients understand and trust company’s services
  • Liaise and cooperate with existing clients
  • Write reports and sales literature
  • Ensure that sales targets are met.
  • Communicate with clients/customers to understand their demands and offer after sales support
  • Recommend new products, designs and systems to the clients/customers
  • Prepare client bids, quotations and budgets
  • Can assist in negotiating contracts, terms and conditions
  • Secure orders, guarantee service standard and delivery

Technical;

  • Assist in building layout, framing, sheathing and roofing structures
  • Use equipment and tools to safely perform daily construction works
  • Correct any safety hazards and report them to the foreman or project engineer
  • Read, interpret and follow technical drawings
  • Collaborate with other professionals during construction
  • Train apprentices as needed to ensure that project is completed in a timely manner

Qualifications;

  • Diploma in areas of; Civil Engineering, Building and Construction or related fields
  • Computer knowledge is an added advantage.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to speak both English (mandatory) and Luganda (optional)
  • Good oral and written skills.
  • Ability to network.

Resident of KYEBANDO or surrounding areas like; MULAGO, KANYANYA, MPERWERE, BAHAI, KALERWE, BUKOTO, KAMPALA QUALITY etc.

No experience required for this position
