The Ministry o A riciutral, Anil al Industry and Isheries MAAI has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the anda ilate art A riciutral Trans or ation Pro ect ATP, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the su ly, dill eny, trainin and co ission o our 4 heel tractors ith i le ents and accessories in four (4) Lots in 2 below: "For this contract, the MAAI shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank's Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing, except for those payments, which the contract provides to be made through letter of credit."
Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries (MAAIF) now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply, delivery, training and commissioning of four (4) wheel tractors with implements and accessories in four (4) Lots as follows:

Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank's Procurement Regulations for Investments Project Financing (IPF) "Governance" July 2016, Revised in September, 2025 and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
Bids will be evaluated in accordance with the evaluation process set out in the bidding documents. The following weightings shall apply for Rated Criteria (including technical and non-price factors): 0 and 6 bid cost: 0
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding document during office hours from 00 hours to 01 hours (East African Time) at the address given below in 10 A Pte Bid meeting will be held on 1st April, 2026 at Uganda Climate Smart Agricultural Transformation Project (UCSATP) Office, at Plot 78, Buganda Road, Kampala at 10:00am East African Time with an Online Virtual Meeting using zoom - A link will be shared with all registered bidders prior to the date of the meeting. The bidders who wish to attend the meeting shall register and submit their official email addresses not later than one (1) day to the date of the meeting through Procurement.uastap@kenyaicbc.go.ug.
The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of anda hillin $ Three hundred Thousand only 00,000. The method of payment will be through the Bank to Uganda Revenue Authority. The document will be sent by email.
Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 9 May, 2026 at 1100 hours East Africa Time i.e. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. The cut-off Bid endorses marked "Onuswa Bi", and the interest rate will be 12% per annum. The winning Bidder will be announced at the end of the bidding process. The winning Bidder will be required to provide a bank guarantee in the amount of USD 500,000.00 (Five hundred thousand US dollars) to secure the contract. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of Uganda Shillings.
