About Organisation:

Savior Microfinance Limited (SML) is a microfinance company that is duly registered in Uganda.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Iganga Branch.
  • Support credit appraisal processes by tracking applications, follow-ups, and documentation completeness.
  • Monitor loan disbursement conditions and follow up on post-disbursement requirements.
  • Support recoveries through follow-up on delinquent accounts, repayment tracking, and coordination with Credit Officers and Recovery staff.
  • Maintain accurate branch records, credit files, and customer documentation.
  • Prepare periodic branch reports on credit performance, arrears, recoveries, and operational activities.
  • Handle customer inquiries professionally and support resolution of credit-related issues.
  • Support branch cash controls, logistics, and general office administration.
  • Ensure compliance with institutional policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Any other duties as assigned by Management.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong background in credit appraisal, loan administration, and recoveries (microfinance experience is a must).
  • Good understanding of loan products, credit documentation, and portfolio monitoring.
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel; experience with Loan Management Systems is an added advantage.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
