Platinum Credit is a leading Regional Micro Finance Company providing emergency loans to employed individuals in Africa.
Job Details
Lead loan growth and portfolio oversight at branch level, ensuring alignment with company objectives and delivering measurable impact in the agricultural finance sector.
Key Duties/Responsibilities
- Lead branch staff to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly loan disbursement and collection targets.
- Maintain and analyze disbursement and collections reports, implementing targeted interventions for staff as needed.
- Ensure compliance with lending processes, including origination, appraisal, approval, and monitoring.
- Conduct field visits to clients and key stakeholders within the branch coverage area.
- Chair loan committees, oversee disbursement meetings, and ensure complete loan documentation.
- Recruit, train, and coach Loan Officers to maintain a high-quality loan portfolio.
- Manage staff performance through appraisals, remediation plans, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications and Work Experience
- Degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in a financial institution.
- Knowledge of Agricultural Finance Loans.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
