The Government of Uganda has received funds from the World Bank to fund the Intergovernmental Fiscal Transfer (UgIT) Programme for Results (PAIs). Ministry of Health has embarked on completing Health Centre tits in Select Local Governments by Drilling and Motofisation of boreholes to improve water supply.

This procurement is subject to the reservation scheme in accordance with the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets (PPDA) Act 2003 and the applicable Regulations.

The Ministry of Health now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Procurement of Contractor for the drilling and motorslation of boreholes in Select Local Governments Under Uganda Intergovernmental Fiscal Transfer Programme for Results listed (hereinafter referred to as “the works”).

Bidding shall be conducted in accordance with the procedures contained in the PPDA Act, 2003 (the Act) and the Regulations made under the Act and is open to all bidders.

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding document at the address given below at 10(a) from the website to 17:00ms.

The bidding document which has been prepared in the English language may be purchased by interested bidders at 10(b) upon payment of a non-refundable fee of 100,000/- (Ugarida Stillings One Hundred Thousand Only). The method of payment will be through the Bank on the URA – Men Tax Revenue Account.

Bids must be delivered to the address below at 10(c) on 30/12/2028 at or before 11:00 am. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security in the amounts specified below:
Let 1: USX 14,000,000. Let 2: USX 13,000,000. Let 3: USX 20,000,000 and
Let 4: USX 10,000,000.

The bid security will be in form of a Bank Guarantee obtained from a reputable commercial bank subject to verification. LATE BIDS SHALL BE REJECTED.

Bid securities must be valid until 24th JUNE 2005. Let also bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 10(d) at 10:30am.

There shall be a pre-bid meeting on zoom and the link will be available on the Ministry Web site and at Ministry of Health Boardroom at London (source to 11th December), 2025 at 10:00 AM to respond to Technical issues.
