Overview

A Marketing Manager will be responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing marketing strategies that promote an organization’s products or services. The role will involve market research, brand management, campaign coordination, budget oversight, and performance analysis to increase visibility, attract customers, and drive business growth.

Specific Skills

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

3–6 years of experience in marketing, product management, or business development, preferably in agriculture or crop protection industries.

Proven track record in portfolio strategy, brand management, and demand generation.

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDEGE/SKILLS

Experience working closely with sales teams and coordinating cross-functional initiatives.

Market analysis and customer insight development. Portfolio strategy and new product proposal processes. Brand positioning and marketing communication.

Demand generation planning and execution (trainings, demos, trials). Channel and Key Account program management.

Financial acumen (budgeting, ROI analysis).

Proficiency in CRM, marketing tools, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).

COMPETENCES/ SKILLS

Familiarity with the crop protection market is a strong advantage.

Team leadership, including coordination of the Promoters Team. Strong collaboration with Sales and Technical teams.

Strategic thinking and sound decision-making. Clear communication and influencing skills.

Proactive, results-oriented mindset. Adaptability to changing market conditions.

Strong organizational and time management skills. Consistent and reliable execution.

Responsible For

Co-lead the Gap Analysis & Market Insight process to support strategic and commercial

Recommend portfolio strategy and propose new products based on market needs to the Sales Director and Country Head.

Support the Country Head in preparing the Yearly Business Plan.

Work closely with the Sales Director to optimize business development and commercial

Drive brand positioning and communication in line with HQ guidelines, focusing on key products and developing value propositions.

Design and lead demand generation and marketing campaigns—including trainings, demos, trials, events (e.g., Reality Check, Mega Events, Partner Conferences), and promotional materials (e.g., glow sign boards, blimps, replicas, signage).

Support the Sales Team in coordinating TRs and Field Agronomist for technical support and campaign execution.

Ensure effective product positioning and grower engagement across regions.

Track marketing performance and recommend corrective actions.

Additional Requirements

Lead the Country Market Insight process to support strategic and commercial planning.

Recommend portfolio strategy and new product proposals based on market needs to the National Sales Manager and General Manager.

Support the Country Head in preparing the Yearly Business Plan with relevant marketing inputs.

Work with the Sales Director to strengthen business development and commercial execution.

Drive brand positioning and communication, ensuring alignment with HQ and strong value propositions for key products.

Design and lead demand generation campaigns, including trainings, demos, trials, events (e.g., Reality Check, Mega Events), and promotional materials (e.g., glow sign boards, blimps, signage).
