Audit: Progress EP Liganda (COMPAW) as Operator of Contract James (Cw) and License Area (LA) 2 North, in conjunction with its Joint Venture Partners, invites experienced and reputable companies to express interest in providing Gender Management Services covering villagers in Billidas, Navoya, Nikulide, Pakwatch and Holma Galarda. In the Atlantic charting Region of the Republic of Uganda, These activities will be implemented as part of the Project’s impact mitigation initiatives.

General Field Development Description:
The Tilenga oil and associated gas development (Project) is in the North-East area of Lake Alberta in Uganda and covers the fields in Co-1 block and the Northern part of L.A.-Z. Block. The facilities include wetlands, an industrial area containing the Central Processing Facility (CPF) and associated supporting infrastructure (camps, roads etc).

The Gender Management Program will include, but not be limited to, the following:

Stakeholder engagement and Sensitization (including implementation of a communication campaign and production and distribution of EC materials; establishment of Gender Working Groups; and implementation of Community Dislegues and Workforce Datagens).
School Awareness Program targeting secondary schools and specifically risks and impacts upon young adolescents’ rights.
Women’s Economic Improvement, Establish, building capacity and equip and operationalise Women empowerment groups with ensuring they have income and improved livelihoods.
Gender Based Violence, Harassment and Sexual Exploitation and Abuse, establishment and operation of village level-women’s groups and establishment and/or strengthening of GBW referral mechanisms.

Minimum Requirements:
At least 5 years of providing similar services in Uganda.
Current registration for or application to be registered to, the Petroleum National Supplier Database, as required by the 2016 Upstream Petroleum Regulations of Uganda.
Must have previous experience in similar activities a proven track record that of projects executed related to Gender management’s principally including projects aimed at women economic empowerment interventions.
Must have suitable, qualified employees and experienced in provision of the above said services.
Be registered with NSSE and with all required insurances for the vendor and its employees.
Have adequate financial capacity to undertake the eventual contract.
Compliance to National and internationals laws and oil and gas international standards.
Must have an appropriate HSE Management system, Quality Policy and related procedures in compliance with local and international standards.

Interested parties are required to express their interest on or before 9^th January 2020, 14:00 hrs. (GMT+3) by:

Following receipt of the EOI email request, COMPAW’s staff register the interested parties in its e-sourcing platform ARIRA. All prequalifications is eventual tender process shall be conducted on this platform. Please note that ARIRA will accept individual attachments and compressed folders (zip) to exceeding 150MB per document upload. Documents may be split up to meet this system requirement.
