Asili’s long-term ambition is to build a financial and trading platform that enables agricultural businesses to access reliable markets, structured financing, and modern supply-chain infrastructure.

About the Role

Assisting in overall stock management and ensure proper storage, issue and distribution of all stocks and non-stock items utilization.

Responsibilities

Store Operations Management

  • Support day-to-day store operations at the assigned location
  • Coordinate movement of:
    • Machinery spare parts
    • Chemicals & fertilizers
    • Fuel & lubricants
    • Packing materials
    • Seeds, farm produce, and tools
  • Ensure timely issuance of materials based on approved requisitions
  • Maintain proper labeling and easy identification of all items
  • Ensure proper handover and documentation of issued items

Inventory & Record Management

  • Maintain accurate inventory records for stock and fixed assets
  • Track and report used, damaged, lost, or stolen items
  • Conduct regular stock counts and reconciliations
  • Monitor stock levels and report discrepancies

Receiving & Inspection

  • Receive and inspect all incoming goods
  • Verify deliveries against purchase orders and requisitions
  • Record and report any damages or discrepancies
  • Ensure proper documentation and filing of all transactions

Storage & Warehouse Management

  • Ensure proper storage conditions to prevent loss, damage, or contamination
  • Maintain correct classification and organization of items
  • Ensure warehouse cleanliness and orderliness
  • Implement proper stacking, labeling, and space utilization

Supply Chain Coordination

  • Support store-level supply chain activities
  • Track and follow up on pending orders
  • Coordinate with procurement and user departments
  • Ensure timely dispatch of materials as per demand

Stock Planning & Forecasting

  • Monitor inventory levels and consumption trends
  • Support forecasting based on seasonal demand and usage patterns
  • Advise the Store Manager on replenishment needs

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Handle and store hazardous materials safely
  • Ensure proper labeling and segregation of chemicals
  • Maintain safety signage and compliance with safety standards
  • Ensure safe storage systems (e.g., fuel tanks, chemical storage areas)

Housekeeping

  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the store and warehouse areas
  • Ensure proper waste management and disposal practices

Other Duties

  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Stores

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Procurement & Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field

Experience (Recommended Addition)

  • At least 1–2 years of experience in storekeeping, warehouse, or inventory management (preferably in agriculture or manufacturing)

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Inventory management and record-keeping
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Basic computer skills (Excel, inventory systems)
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Integrity and accountability
  • Knowledge of safety procedures (especially for chemicals and fuel)
