Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kampala for a Concentration and Civil Engineering Contractor. The role includes responsibilities such as designing civil engineering projects, managing water resources, collaborating with teams to ensure projects meet specifications, overseeing project lifecycles, and ensuring quality and compliance with applicable standards. The contractor will also communicate effectively with teams, stakeholders, and clients while ensuring the project timeline and budget are maintained.

Qualifications

Strong expertise in Civil Engineering Design and proficiency in general civil engineering principles

Experience in Water Resource Management and associated environmental considerations

Project Management skills, including planning, coordination, and execution of tasks within deadlines and budgets

Excellent Communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders, clients, and team members effectively

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field

Proficiency in relevant software tools, such as AutoCAD, SAP2000, or related design applications

Commitment to safety, sustainability, and compliance with industry standards
