Reports To – Administrator and Accounting Assistant
Job Location – Bayimba Centre, Buikwe / Mukono

Bayimba Cultural Foundation is a multiple-branched organization that focuses on uplifting arts and culture in Uganda through cultural exchange and creativity. The Foundation hosts high-quality arts festivals, offers training courses and workshops for aspiring artists, and facilitates creative development. It strives to reach as wide an audience as possible, reaching all age groups and income levels. Bayimba is unique in its multidisciplinary approach combined with its engaging efforts to “explore and experience”.

The Organization is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Film Production Coordinator to support the Film Production Skilling and Training program. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth implementation of the program, managing participant onboarding and profiles, tracking budget expenditures, and collecting data.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Programme Implementation:
    • Ensure the Film Production Skilling and Training program is implemented according to plan.
    • Coordinate with trainers, mentors, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality training.
  2. Participants Onboarding and Management:
    • Onboard participants to the program, ensuring they have a smooth transition.
    • Manage participant profiles, including tracking progress, attendance, and feedback.
  3. Budget Management:
    • Track and manage budget expenditures for the program, ensuring financial sustainability.
    • Prepare and submit financial reports to the Program Manager.
  4. Data Collection and Analysis:
    • Collect and analyze data on program participants, including demographics, progress, and outcomes.
    • Use data to inform program improvements and report on program impact.
  5. Film Production Support:
    • Assist in setting up and maintaining film production equipment and software.
    • Provide technical support to participants during training sessions.

Requested qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in audio production, music production or a related field.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in program coordination, poetry or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of audio production techniques, software, and equipment.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with youth or vulnerable groups.
  • Familiarity with Ugandan film industry and production trends.
  • Certificate in film production or related field.
