Generic responsibilities
- Adherence to NRC policies, guidance and procedures
- Develop and maintain an overview of all grants, donor requirements, rules and regulations, and internal and external deadlines, including the filing of grant documents (including through the cycles and Office 365)
- Contribute to the development of donor applications and reports, as well as ensuring donor compliance and quality control
- Contribute to the development and revision of funding proposals, budgets, and donor reports
- Be updated on donor priorities and track and share relevant calls for proposals
- Document, analyze, and share learning from the proposal and reporting process, and compliance with donor rules and regulations
- Contribute to continuously improving internal grant management systems
- Provide an internal helpdesk on donor-related issues, including organizing and delivering training in donor rules and regulations, as well as proposal and report writing
- Coordinate the development and distribution of internal reports
- Contribute to PCM training and usage of the NRC PCM framework in the CO as delegated by the Head of Programme
- Support external donor audits
- Represent with relevant partners and donors as delegated
- Promote the rights of refugees in line with the advocacy strategy
Specific responsibilities
- Responsible for reporting and oversight of a specific portfolio of grants for which NRC Uganda is the lead agency, either amongst a consortium of external partners or a regional programme with other NRC country offices, namely (at current): for example, ECHO ICLA (led by NRC)
- Liaise and coordinate in donor reporting between the area office, PDM, the region and donors
- Organizing and facilitating Go No GO meetings, Project review meetings, GoM, GCM and updating the PCM RACI
- Archiving and updating the Project folder under the filing tree, ensuring that all documents are archived and in compliance with the NRC compliance checklist
- Follow up on all applications and update the online grants tracker, and share with managers
- Support for monitoring BVA’s and identifying areas of concern for HOP to act
- Conduct monitoring and field support missions to project sites related to the grant’s portfolio
- Support research, advocacy, and communications related to the grant’s portfolio
- Deputize for the partnership coordinator as directed

- Between 3-5 years of relevant experience within field of expertise
- Relevant experience from the project management in the humanitarian sector
- Experience from working with humanitarian and development donors

- Strong analytical skills (data and financial)

- Contract: national contract, 6 months (extension possible, dependent on funding)
