Job Purpose
On behalf our client, we are seeking a dynamic and self-driven Head of Partnerships & Growth to lead our sales function across multiple business lines. This role is ideal for a mature professional who understands Uganda's corporate landscape, thrives in building relationships and can sell across a diverse portfolio of lifestyle and experiential offerings.
You will be responsible for identifying, pitching, and closing sales opportunities with leading companies in Uganda, while also maintaining long-term client relationships that drive repeat business.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Sales (Mixd Catering): Sell Mixd Coffee & Cocktail Catering packages to companies for end-of-year parties, summits, conferences, retreats, and other corporate events.
Paid Media Sales: Sell The Pearl Guides advertising and sponsored content packages, including sponsored listings, reels, and Presented By partnerships.
Experiential Marketing Sales: Drive sales of The Pearl Guides experiential marketing solutions, from activations to branded event packages.
Hospitality Partnership: Drive partnership discussions with hospitality providers for our tour operating arm.
- Prospect, research and develop a strong pipeline of new leads across the different product lines.
- Build and deliver compelling presentations and proposals tailored to client needs
- Network actively within Ugandas corporate ecosystem to uncover opportunities.
- Manage client accounts, ensuring smooth onboarding and long-term satisfaction.
- Track sales activities, pipeline and performance to achieve set revenue targets.
- Maintain strong internal collaboration with The Pearl Guides creative, content and experiential teams to deliver promised value to clients.
Qualifications and Skills Required
Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or any related field.
Sales Experience: Minimum 4-6 years in corporate sales, business development or account management, preferably in events, media, advertising, or hospitality.
Corporate Networker: Strong familiarity with Ugandas corporate environment, with an existing network in sectors such as telecoms, banking, FMCG, tourism and professional services.
Presentation Skills: Proven ability to create and deliver professional presentations and proposals
Tech Savvy: Comfortable with digital tools (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, CRM systems, email-based selling).
Relationship Builder: Skilled in both hunting new business and nurturing long-term client accounts.
Self-Motivated: Results-driven with minimal supervision, proactive in pursuing targets.
Maturity: Preferably between 28–35 years, demonstrating professionalism, resilience and strong work ethic.
