Job Summary
The successful candidates will be responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling resources to achieve project objectives. The Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Job Description
-  Engineering Design, Procurement & Project Management.
 
- Oversee all project activities from detailed design to successful commissioning of construction projects assigned.
 
- Prepare/Review design calculations, specifications and drawings.
 
- Give technical support during the bidding process in the coordination of bid clarification, pre-bid site visits, bid evaluation, pre-award meetings, and preparation of draft contracts.
 
- Review detailed engineering designs, drawings and technical specifications to specified engineering standards and best engineering practices.
 
- Review contractors’ method statements and procedures for quality assurance.
 
- Supervise, monitor and report on the progress and quality of equipment, material and works and recommend corrective actions wherever necessary.
 
- Verify Consultants’ and Contractors’ interim and final invoices against agreed project milestones and deliverables.
 
- Monitor the operational performance of installed facilities during Defects Liability Period and ensure rectification of identified snags.
 
- Monitor and ensure effective coordination between Head Office, Consultants, Contractors, Finance Department and all other project stakeholders to attain execution of the contract scope within approved budget and timelines.
 
- Ensure compliance to safety, social, health and environment regulations and project specific requirements.
 
- Identify, Monitor and assess project risks and execute necessary mitigation measures.
 
- Carry out any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
 
Job Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical /water engineering.
 
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience preferably Building engineering/water systems
 
- Computer literacy in MS Projects, Microsoft office or similar project scheduling and monitoring tool.
 
- Should be competent with AutoCAD or related design tools
 
- Should possess Strong Communication Skills
 
- Must be willing to travel extensively and be away from duty station for extended periods.
