JOB DETAILS:
On behalf of our client an audit firm, we seek to recruit a highly competent, motivated and professional individual to fill the position of Finance Manager .

Job Overview:
Finance Manager will lead and grow Firm’s Accounting and Outsourcing Services department.
Report to: Managing Partner.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide accountancy, administration, financial control and leadership to a small but growing team of accounting staff for the practice, including outsourced teams.
• To lead in the development of the firm’s business plan and strategy, including leading the development of the five (5) departmental budgets and work plans on an annual and quarterly basis.
• Report directly to the Managing Partner on a weekly and monthly basis and or when the need arises, on the progress of cash flow generation and workflow forecasts that are ultimately reported to the Group in Paris,
• Prepare fairly complex reports to Mazars Group in France on a quarterly and annual basis using bespoke group software.
• Lead and provide guidance to the other departments on your own, but with support by the other team leaders/heads of department in the collating of departmental performance numbers, forecasts and budgets. Therefore, you will provide technical management accounting input into the development of departmental targets and the regular evaluation of results – performance evaluation against targets,
• Take initiative to further develop the firm’s accounting and outsourcing business offering to clients, including taking an interest in analyzing specific industries in our outsourcing business.
• Have a keen interest and understanding of technical accounting concepts, including a firm grasp of cost and management accounting and analysis and be comfortable with the interpretation and use of International Financial Reporting Standards (‘IFRS’) and best practice in management accounting of a high degree of competence expected of a senior manager in finance and accounting
• Work with external clients on analyzing and understanding their business needs in order to satisfy their requests during varied cycles of any accounting consulting engagements including evaluating their future financial or managerial reporting needs.
• You will be responsible for the monthly and annual forecasting, preparation and filing of tax and social security obligations and liaising with the tax authorities to resolve queries and address matters arising from the firm’s tax and other obligations’ exposure.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; ACCA, CPA a plus
• 5-8 years of experience in accounting and/or financial analysis
• Ability to synthesize large quantities of complex data into actionable information
• Ability to work and effectively communicate with senior-level business partners
• Excellent business judgment, analytical, and decision-making skills
• Knowledge of financial reporting and data mining tools such as SQL, Access, etc.
• Strong demonstrated use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
