Primary function:

Responsible for resolving Production-related issues and supervising Production maintenance.

Responsibilities:  

  • Participate in new oilfield production commissioning and start-up plan preparation and execution.
  • Collect and follow up production-related issues left out by the Engineering Team.
  • Conduct Emergency response as per the Emergency Response Plan.
  • Execute instructions from the production superintendent and Sr. production supervisor
  • Responsible for production process, central control system, ESD, Fire & Gas system, equipment parameters and operation procedure, chemical MSDS and characters, system initial and normal start-up procedure, system normal and emergency shutdown procedure.
  • Lead the operation team to carry out a normal routine operation properly, and deal with production abnormalities to avoid production shutdown, equipment damage, or any petroleum-related leakages.
  • In charge of Oil\Water\Gas and chemical process normal routine management, ensuring process stability, Oil and water treatment to meet specifications.
  • Prepare production work plan and summary. Collaborate with the supervisor to manage production budgets and chemical consumption.
  • Organize production-related equipment normal routine checks and records, and report abnormalities promptly.
  • Order production-related spares and ensure sufficient spares stock.
  • Lead the operation team to carry out production-related equipment preventive maintenance.
  • Responsible for production-related contractor onsite work coordination and supervision.
  • Conduct onsite production-related national staff training.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by superior.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 8 years’ experience in Oil & Gas production. Including 4 years’ oilfield onsite experience and at least 2 years’ lead operator.

Knowledge:

  • Extensive knowledge of development and production
  • Extensive experience in oil production management
  • Familiar with international oil industry practice
