Position Summary:
The Supply Planner and Inventory Supervisor facilitates the planning, cost-effective sourcing of inputs, dispatch and delivery of finished products to different customer segments. A key outcome of the role is the effective and cost-efficient operations for the specified role in the value stream.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inventory Management. Track and update inventory levels to ensure optimization including but not limited to:
- Reviewing daily and weekly stock status reports and update management.
- Generate reports from the system.
- Review stock and update thresholds for key products.
2. Production scheduling. Develop weekly production schedules based on inventory needs including but not limited to;
- Preparing weekly Production schedules.
- Align current stock levels and weekly demand forecasts for Production.
- Review stock cover days and adjust schedules regularly
3.Order fulfilment. Monitor order fulfilment and ensure timely delivery including but not limited to;
- Monitoring orders through the transit report and customer service emails.
- Upload order fulfilment and material transit report.
4.Customer and Supplier Communication. Handles inquiries from customers and Suppliers including but not limited to;
- Regular updates and follow-ups with customers.
5.Issue Resolution.
- Address and resolve inventory orders and supplier performance issues
6.UDB Material release. Develop and track UDB material releases through different approval stages including but not limited to;
- Material prices were updated and reports were shared with ACE.
- Check the status of the warehouse.
7.Inventory Audits.
- Perform inventory reviews and audits ensure accuracy.
8. Collateral Processes. Manage collateral process and collaborate with ACE, UDB, and Nice teams regarding document releases sign and filing including but not limited to;
- End-of-month reports shared with stakeholders.
9. Warehouse Management. Participate in warehouse space utilization planning 5s audits including but not limited to;
- Warehouse Planning and audits.
- Optimise space for better storage and retrieval processes.
- Adjustments made for better utilization.
10. Team Supervision. Supervise the inventory team to ensure seamless flow of inventory activities.
- Observe and participate in the Mulwana Way 4.0
- Perform other duties as assigned
Key skills and Experience:
- Minimum 5 years in Supply Chain role or similar environment.
- Substantial previous experience in a complex environment, working with multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
- Having strong communication skills to manage the internal and external stakeholder expectations
- Strong leadership talent, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to make Decisions under pressure
- Good commercial and business understanding
- Analytical approach and problem diagnostic skills.
- Computer literate preferably SAP Business 1 (ERP) and application packages.
Key Qualifications
- Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business or related field.
- Minimum 5 years in a warehousing, logistics, supply chain or similar environment.

- Proven ability to maximize output from teams.
- Strong ability to think through and analyze complex problems
- Strong commercial mentality and creativity.
- Responsiveness addresses issues effectively, with a strong focus on action.
- Accountability drive accountability and takes responsibility accordingly.

- Ability to manage and deliver on complex projects.
