Transaction Banking Sales Manager
dfcu Bank is a fast-growing Bank in Uganda offering a wide range of financial solutions to its chosen market segments. We are seeking to recruit for the position of Transaction Banking Sales Manager in the Commercial (CCO) Domain to support our expansion strategy.
REPORTING TO: Head- Transaction Banking Specialised Finance
JOB PURPOSE: Reporting to the Head- Transactional Banking and Specialised Finance, the role holder will be responsible for Transactional Banking product sales to Corporate Banking customers, work with Relationship Managers and Senior Transaction Banking Sales Managers to ensure optimal cross sell ratio of Transactional Banking products within the portfolio.
LOCATION: Kampala

Key Accountabilities:
• Develop and continually expand the target market of Trade and Cash Management products, provide Training and coaching and work actively with Relationship managers, Treasury, IT & operational personal and Business Banking.
• Deliver TB financial target for the business segment/portfolio assigned.
• Initiate and implement customer service best practices and ensure that internal support is received from other departments for service quality improvements.
• Maintaining the highest standards of customer service to maximize the returns from identified relationships and attract new business from targeted customers in terms of the Marketing and Business Development Market Plan.
• Responsible for product management, financials, volume, trend, and variance analysis for the portfolio.
• Actively update and monitor the deal pipeline for growth. Enable business to measure impact and value derived from the revenue Centre.
• Maintain adequate pricing of Trade and Cash Management products on a revenue/expense basis and ensure full collection of fees and commissions, whilst growing this revenue line for Revenue maximization.
• Identify areas of improvement for existing products and processes and make recommendations.
• Product sales awareness and utilization.
• Achieve Revenue and growth Targets.
• Achieve new sales revenue targets as agreed.
• Responsible for portfolio financial budget through good client retention and services.

Qualifications, Experience And Competencies Required:
• A Bachelor’s Degree with preference to Business training.
• Certification in Computing is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Banking or previous experience as Sales executive in a financial institution.
• Knowledge of Bank systems and Products are an advantage.
• Ability to communicate at all levels both internally and externally.
• Good knowledge of trade, supply chain, and cash management products.
• A good team player able to work under minimum supervision- Self-drive and initiative.
• Excellent communications and engagement skills.
• Strong selling and negotiation skills.
• High-level of integrity.
• Sharp, self-confident and performance driven.
• Self-starter and excellent in sales management

Relationship Manager- Corporate
dfcu Bank is a fast-growing Bank in Uganda offering a wide range of financial solutions to its chosen market segments. We are seeking to recruit for the position of Relationship Manager- Corporate in the Commercial (CCO) Domain to support our expansion strategy.
Reporting To: Segment Head
Job Purpose: Reporting to the Segment Head, the role holder will be responsible for managing Corporate relationships within business segments through origination in line with targets and expectations. The Relationship Manager will be responsible for offering the best customer experience to the assigned clientele to ensure retention and grow the existing business through deeper penetration into their existing business requirements.

Location: Kampala
Key Accountabilities:
• Provide superior relationship management. customer retention, loyalty, preference & devotion to Corporate relationships.
• Work with Senior Relationship Managers or Segment Heads to upskill understanding of market, sales, and product understanding.
• Sell banks products to Corporate customers including Multi-nationals, Large Corporates, Development Organizations, Government, and other Parastatals to enhance growth in customer numbers and achieve overall financial targets.
• Analyze and compare our product offer, service, pricing, and financial performance against competition, and give feedback from market-Market intelligence, to remain relevant and competitive to be the preferred financial provider in the market.
• Identify new or additional business openings in market-research and information gatherings.
• Improve on relationship management through regular- visits, timely feedback to clients & continuous anticipation of their needs with the aim to exceed their expectations.
• Cross selling and retention of Borrowing vs. Non – Borrowing clients in branches to maintain a clean & updated database.
• Addressing/resolving corporate customer complaints and providing feedback in a timely manner.

Qualifications, Experience And Competencies Required:
• University Graduate (Hons).
• Skills in in Sales, Credit & Relationship Management will be added advantage.
• Track record in Sales Management.
• 5 Years’ experience in Banking of which 2-3 should be in Relationship Management & Sales.
• Computer knowledge especially in spread sheet, word & power point.
• Relevant business experience and acumen.
• Outgoing, self-motivated and a good team player able to work under minimum supervision, self-drive and initiative.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• A self-starter who is oriented and able to meet deadlines.
• Full of energy and enthusiasm.
• Excellent relationship management skills
