The Sales & Marketing Graduate Trainee role is part of a two-year structured rotational programe designed to develop high-potential graduates into future Sales and Marketing professionals within CFAO Mobility. The trainee will rotate across Sales, Marketing, Automotive Logistics, and Aftersales, amongst other functional areas, gaining hands-on experience with multiple mobility brands including Toyota, Suzuki, Yamaha, and Commercial Trucks/Equipment. The program provides exposure to commercial operations, customer engagement, brand management, digital marketing, events execution, and supply-chain coordination. The key objective is to build a strong foundation for a long-term career in sales and marketing while grooming high performers for potential permanent roles, subject to available vacancies.

Requirements

Principal Accountabilities:

During the programme, the Graduate Trainee will be assigned responsibilities across various functional areas, gaining exposure to a broad range of commercial and operational activities. These may include, but are not limited to, the following:

1. Sales

  • Learn and apply sales techniques, including value selling, negotiation, closing, and objection handling.
  • Learn brand positioning and product knowledge across all CFAO Mobility brands.
  • Participate in prospecting, lead qualification, and customer engagement across B2B, B2C, NGO/UN, and Government segments.
  • Support Sales Consultants in preparing quotations, tenders, and RFQ submissions within agreed SLAs.
  • Assist with showroom operations, demo/test drive coordination, and CRM data accuracy.

2. Marketing

  • Participate in campaign planning, execution, and post‑campaign reporting.
  • Support events and experiential marketing activities, including customer activations, product launches, and brand showcases.
  • Assist with the development of marketing content, social media coordination, and campaign performance tracking.
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to support data-driven marketing decisions.

3. After-sales

  • Learn the fundamentals of after-sales operations, including service bookings, customer follow-ups, and workshop coordination.
  • Observe key workshop processes to understand how technical service, parts availability, and product knowledge contribute to brand loyalty.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to understand OEM standards and how after-sales supports overall customer retention.

4. Automotive Logistics

  • Gain understanding of key automotive supply-chain processes, including:
  • Vehicle clearance and registration
  • Pre-delivery inspections aligned to OEM standards
  • Order-to-delivery coordination with sales and after-sales teams

5. Learning & Professional Development

  • Participate fully in all structured learning programmes, including online courses, in‑person workshops, and rotational assessments.
  • Apply learning to real business scenarios and demonstrate continuous personal and professional growth.
  • Contribute to team assignments, presentations, and improvement projects across departments.

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Communications, or any related field.
  • Recent graduate (within 0–2 years) with strong academic standing.
