Overall Purpose:

To perform precise measurements and provide accurate data concerning the shape, contour, location, and dimensions of land features for construction planning and control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct topographic surveys, setting out, and as-built surveys.
• Establish primary control points and site benchmarks.
• Stake out alignments, grades, and locations for all construction elements.
• Verify the accuracy of work in progress and completed works.
• Process survey data and prepare drawings, reports, and quantity calculations.
• Operate and maintain total stations, GPS (GNSS) equipment, and levels.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma or degree in Land Surveying or Geomatics.
• Minimum 5-8 years of surveying experience in linear projects (roads, pipelines).
• Proficiency with modern surveying equipment and software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
• Registration with a relevant professional body is an advantage.
