Overall Purpose

To operate and control the computerized batching plant to produce concrete or asphalt that meets precise mix design specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate the computerized control panel to batch materials according to mix designs.
• Monitor material bins, scales, and water/cement ratios.
• Coordinate with lab technicians and truck dispatchers.
• Record batch tickets, production data, and material usage.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the plant.
• Troubleshoot basic computer and mechanical issues.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma or trade certificate in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience operating a computerized batching plant (concrete or asphalt).
• Strong understanding of mix designs, aggregates, and admixtures.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and good computer literacy.
