Overall Purpose:

To manage all costs related to the project, from initial calculations to the final figures, ensuring value for money while meeting legal and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
• Perform cost planning, budgeting, and cost control.
• Measure and value work in progress for interim payments.
• Evaluate variations, change orders, and claims.
• Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Prepare final accounts and cost reports.
• Advise on procurement and contractual matters.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or similar.
• 8-12 years of experience in major civil/oil & gas projects.
• Membership in RICS, CIQS, or equivalent is highly preferred.
• Proficient in QS software (e.g., CostX, WinQS) and MS Excel.
