Overall Purpose:

To provide direct technical supervision and coordination for a specific construction discipline, ensuring work is done safely, on time, to specification, and within budget.

Responsibilities or duties

Common Key Responsibilities (for all specializations):

• Supervise and direct foremen, crews, and subcontractors in the specific discipline.
• Interpret drawings and specifications to plan daily work activities.
• Ensure all works comply with method statements and quality standards.
• Monitor productivity, material usage, and equipment needs.
• Coordinate with other discipline superintendents for workflow.
• Train and mentor junior staff and workers.
• Enforce strict HSSE compliance.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

Diploma or advanced trade certificate in the relevant discipline.

Experience needed

Minimum 10-15 years of experience, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role on large projects.

Deep practical knowledge of construction methods and equipment for the specialization.
