CAREER OPPORTUNITY
Nation Media Group is Uganda's most influential media house, operating the Daily Monitor, Saturday Monitor and Sunday Monitor newspapers, 93.3 KFM, 90.4 Dembe FM, NTV Uganda, Spark TV and Nation Courier Service.
We are seeking qualified and experienced Business Executives - NCU to source new business and service existing clients. The goal is to maximize revenue generation and collection to meet NMG-U's business objectives.
Job Title: BUSINESS EXECUTIVES
Reports to: Business Manager
Department: NCU
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Aggressively grow Courier business.
- Conduct routine sales visits to potential and existing clients with the aim of growing NCU's courier business.
- Collect dues on courier business sold on credit.
- Maintain sales contacts with appropriate representatives of major courier clients and to follow-up and resolve any complaints.
- Develop prospects of potential clients.
- Submit full details of all potential courier clients to NCU's Business Manager
- Provide regular sales and collection reports to the Business Manager.
- Handle customer complaints and provide feedback for customer satisfaction and growing client portfolio
Facilitate the signing of courier agreements with confirmed clients.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Academic:
Basic University Degree from an accredited institution.
Experience:
At least 1-2 years Sales experience in a related field
CORE COMPETENCIES:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High drive for results
- Very high personal standards
- Good proposal writing skills
- Ability to build strong relationships
- Appreciation for numbers
- Strong customer focus
- Good planning and organizing skills
