Job Summary: The M&E Officer will support the Monitoring and Evaluation function at Mildmay Hospital Uganda (MHUg) by tracking program progress, measuring effectiveness, and ensuring accountability. Through systematic data collection, analysis, and reporting, the role will provide evidence-based insights to inform decision-making, enhance program performance, and demonstrate impact to stakeholders, donors, and beneficiaries.
Expected Key Result Areas:

- Develop and Maintain Results-Based Management and Performance Frameworks
- Coordinate Planning, Budgeting, and Expenditure Monitoring for MHUg Activities
- Establish and Implement Data Collection and Reporting Systems.
- Provide Technical Guidance on Strategic Information Management and Reporting
- Document and Disseminate Program Outcomes and Lessons Learned
- Contribute to the Design and Development of Sustainable MHUg Programs
Education and Aptitude:
-
- Bachelor’s degree qualification in Social Sciences, Development studies, Quantitative economics, Statistics, population studies or other related field with postgraduate qualification in M&E.
- At least 3 years’ experience in Monitoring & Evaluation and preferably in the health sector.
- Proficiency in project implementation reporting
- Experience in patient management systems (UEMR, Clinic Master)
- Knowledge in PEPFAR indicators and reporting systems
- Experience in Health Management Information Systems (HMIS) and OVC MIS
- Demonstrable knowledge in M&E, Research, Data Management, & QMS
- Advanced computer skills in ODK, STATA, SPSS, MS Excel and MS Access.
